Product Description
Multiquip's GAW-Series welder/generators are engineered with a new permanent magnet alternator design and features found on much larger welders. These units truly stand out against other welders in their class.
- Permanent magnet alternator design substantially reduces the overall weight (GAW180HE is 58 pounds lighter than our previous 180-amp model.)
- Arc force control (also referred to as arc starting control) allows the operator to fine tune DC current during low voltage welding conditions and helps prevent electrodes from sticking during short arc length welding.
- Produces 3kW of auxiliary 120-volt AC power and can simultaneously be used as a welder and generator.
- Powered by a 11.0-HP Honda engine with push-button electric start and recoil backup for easy starting.
- Idle control and low-oil shut down are standard.
- 3% voltage regulation
